the BBC version is the true adaptation of 'Pride & Prejudice' fo' sho'. i love love love Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy, but being a fan of Keira i do also heart her as Elizabeth. however, jennifer ehle was also kind of awesome :D

the BBC version is the best, by far! I loved it. When I saw the Kiera one it seemed so rushed. Colin Firth was much more attractive & believable of a MR. Darcy too.

So I, as a avid hater of the Kiera version (the tramp RUINED Lizzy), have to ask... what do you think of it now?

After seeing the BBC version, which to me is the only version that truly captures the spirit of the book, I can't watch any others. Darcy especially can only be captured by Colin Firth. To see anyone else play Lizzy... I just can't imagine it.

Yes, absolutely!! My heart has always belonged to the BBC version. I'm not really a fan of the Kiera version, although it's good. I'm glad you have finally seen the 1995 version and I'm very happy that you liked it. :)
