How was your weekend, bloggy friends? I spent mine at the beach with le boyf, cooped up indoors watching TV and rereading the Harry Potter series because of the rain. And if that sounds dreadful to you, please know that it was like paradise for me. I needed that time -- that space -- to breathe, unwind, and relax. It helped me feel (almost) ready to take on a new school year.
And then I threw my back out yesterday while taking out the trash and have been walking like the Terminator ever since. Ah, life -- ain't she grand?
I'll tell you what's really grand -- giveaways! I may be a little biased when I say you're going to love my next giveaway, because

dinosaur toes before, you are missing out. She is one of the sweetest, most genuine people I know (despite the fact that I know her only over the Internet), and she has a wicked sense of humor. Did I mention she's also insanely talented? Because she is. Whatever she creates -- be it a headband or a pair of earrings -- is more a work of art than an accessory piece. And as if she couldn't get any more awesome, Danielle is also donating 25% of all August sales to the Humane Society. I'm so happy she agreed to sponsor this giveaway. :-)

Are her pieces beautiful or what? I buy so often from her that she probably has my mailing address memorized by now. ;) But seriously, I love both her headbands and jewelry. They make great "signature pieces" when you are looking to spruce up an outfit. Especially her feather earrings -- I get tons of compliments for those. And I meant it when I said that ring would be my next conquest -- it's so pretty!
