What I'm wishing for this Wednesday...

It's all @Cleolinda's fault that I'm craving this cupcake. She tweeted about going to the bakery Gigi's Cupcake today and it turns out the closest one to me is in Tampa. *sob*

I have been unable to register for Pottermore, unlike seemingly everyone else. What's a girl gotta do to get in?! (Other than park myself in front of the computer and forgo sleep and any vestige of a social existence.)

Wish I may, wish I might...

I have been craving this dish like mad, but alas, my favorite French restaurant closed and I don't know of any other place that makes it quite as well. I wish I was even a tiny bit capable in the kitchen, because then I'd attempt to make it myself!

We haven't been to the theater in a bit, and I really, really want to see this one, especially since I finished rereading the book on Sunday. (Are you paying attention, boyf???)

I am dying to go back to Busch Gardens, especially now that a new roller coaster will be opening soon. We might be going in May, for Ricky's birthday. I can't wait!!!

I am already counting down the days until June 11th -- that's when I'm officially on summer vacation, in case you were wondering. I just want to sleep (and sleep and sleep and sleep).

I've become a recent Bobbi Brown fan, after learning about their most excellent concealers. This makeup palette, with its mix of gorgeous eye shadows and glittering lip glosses, has been calling my name. (Pretty loudly, too.)

 I am suddenly a fan of bib necklaces. Especially this one -- isn't it perfect for spring? Never mind that they may not be in style any more. Never mind that they're a bit faddish. *in my best Veruca Salt imitation* "I want it now!"

I never got around to seeing this film in the theaters, but I can't wait until it is released in stores -- I'm dying to see it, and Darcy -- I mean -- Colin Firth. ;)

I have been craving cupcakes from this store in Coral Gables called Buttercream. They make the most delicious cupcakes -- especially their red velvet flavor. Yummmm. Hm, I may have to pass by sometime soon...

I've always had huge under eye circles. I inherited them from my mom's side of the family. (Thanks, mom!) So I am always hunting after the perfect concealer, the perfect cover-up to hide my unsightly circles. Recently, I discovered this eye cream. The price tag ($165.00) is a wee bit steep for my modest teacher's salary, but I'm considering taking the plunge. This eye cream is reputed to help disguise under eye circles for good. That sounds like heaven in a bottle to me!

 I've been looking for a new camera and I really like this model. It has neat features like Miniature Effect and Fisheye Effect, plus I really like its sleek design.

I am taking a break from Project 365 because I just haven't been inspired. You can blame the gloomy weather. The attention-hogging freshies I teach. My complete and utter absorption in this book series.

Wishlist Wednesday! {the birthday edition}

I know what you're thinking -- Annie Cristina finally got her act together and posted her Wednesday Wishlist... on a Wednesday.

I'm shocked, too, believe me. Danielle is probably unconscious right now, having fainted after reading that I posted my wishlist on time.

But the thing is... I've been planning my wishlist for a little bit now, my birthday being in less than in a month (October 10). And since this year my birthday falls on October 10, 2010 -- 10/10/10 -- it's extra special to me. All those 10's, you know. That's pretty cool.

So I guess this is more than a Wednesday Wishlist -- it's a Birthday Wishlist, too. :-)

 I've never been and I really want to! Have you ever been to a drive-in movie?

 I've been craving them like CRAZY lately. I don't know why.

 And since we're on the subject of food -- I've been dying to take Ricky on a picnic. Maybe when all these afternoon rain storms stop happening, I will.

concert tickets
 I'm bummed because U2 postponed their concert in June until June of next year, due to Bono's back injury. I love going to concerts in the summer! I just found out that one of my favorite bands, Interpol, will be coming to Miami in August, so hopefully I will get to see them...
