Ricky and I love to kill time by looking up cool videos on YouTube. Here's one we found the other day. It's for a scene that wound up being cut from the original "Fantasia" film. It's beautiful and evocative, but what makes it especially cool is that it was a collaboration between Walt Disney and Salvador Dali.

Scott just cancelled the special edish blu ray on amazon. we preordered it just to watch this cut scene! thanks for the link :)
as much as i love Dali and Disney, i can see why it was cut. the music isn't a good fit for the images. at. all. intriguing to see Dali do animation, though...
Holy wow. Though I can't I'm crazy for the song, the art/ animation is exquisite. Absolutely breath-taking. Evocative & beautiful, just as you described. :-)
Thank you for posting it. I would have never known such a collaboration existed otherwise.
