I'm trying very hard not to be a superstitious person, but sometimes I just can't help it! Tails-side-up pennies, ladders, black cats . . . they all make me shudder a little. I can usually talk myself out of thinking I'm gonna face some terrible crisis on account of it, but ultimately I am victim to the absurdity that is superstition!
