In April of 2008, the boyf and I spent a week in Tokyo, Japan. It was a last-minute trip, literally planned just days before we left. The plane tickets were actually bought about 48 hours or so before our departure (!). But it was the trip of a lifetime -- a trip I hope to someday recreate -- and sometimes I have to pinch myself when I recall a certain memory from my time in Japan. It's so utterly unlike anywhere else I've ever been that it almost feels unreal that I was ever there at all.
Here is one of the pretties I picked up during my stay. Japan is a must for any toy fanatic. The boyf and I are taking an empty suitcase next time we visit Tokyo just so we can go shopping. ;)
P.S.) I lost my voice from all the coughing I've been doing, oh noes! Do you know of a good remedy to recover my voice? I kind of need it since I'm a teacher... Please let me know if you do. Thanks!
