This afternoon I took my cat Tigger to the vet because he hadn't eaten in almost 24 hours and I was really worried something bad was wrong with him. I had also noticed something looked off about his mouth, but I couldn't put my finger on it (figuratively speaking, of course). Thank goodness my cat's vet agreed to see us right away. And after just a brief examination, he pinpointed the root of the problem -- a tooth infection! So my poor little kitty got two injections -- an antibiotic and a painkiller -- and he's got to report back next week for a dental cleaning.
Thank goodness he's okay. It's funny how our pets really do become like children to us. I guess that's why we call them "furbabies." And as much as I love dogs, Tigger will always hold a special place in my heart. He is definitely this (wo)man's best friend.

My Freckles is like my child.
I remember when her eyes got all puffy and I cried because I had no idea what was wrong. :(
Hope Tigger feels better.

they are so much like our children and i think that's how they should be loved always because they are the definition of unconditional love.
