Seasonal Haiku

(1)
There’s a weight in me,
A stone that sinks deep in me;
Its name is regret.

(2)
Winter’s on the vine
and my icicle tears freeze
your warm blood again.

(3)
No hay mas calor
me has llevado el sol
y la lluvia cae.

(4)
I saw something in
your eyes come alive—
flicker like a flame.

(5)
Love opened her eyes,
saw the frost upon the leaves,
and longed for the sun.

(6)
After the storm’s passed
we will rake the clouds away
and begin again.

(7)
Your face closes shut,
Your hand grows cold in my hand:
Love walks out the door.
